I've been an avid PC gamer for the past 5 years or so, but recently I decided to put off upgrading my PC and buy a 360 instead. But now I am lost in a large back catalog of games, I'm sure a lot of great console exclusive games have come out on the 360 over the past 5 years, but I payed little attention to them in the past due to the fact of not owning a console. So I figured I'd ask the wonderful GiantBomb community for some advice. I'm pretty much open to anything outside of fighting and racing games.

Also is it worthwhile to get a gamefly subscription?

Gears of War and Alan Wake. I'm sure there are better exclusives but that's all I can come up with at the moment.

I don't have an xbox, but I'm sure you'll want to play Gears of War, Halo 3/ODST, Forza, etc. I'm not sure what non exclusive games you haven't played, so I can't really speak to that.

Keeping to Non-PC games, you need to play Bayonetta and Vanquish.

Gears of War and Halo I guess go without saying. Perhaps the Fable series (some would say they're not great by other RPG standards, but I'm not an avid RPG player so I've always enjoyed them as RPG: Lite). Red Dead Redemption hasn't had a PC release. Alan Wake, Crackdown. I'm sure there are many more.

The only 360 exclusives I like are on xbox live. Do you have a gold subscription?

Bayonetta, Vanquish, Red Dead fucking Redemption, Gears 3 (or all of them), Halo Reach (3 is too old), Dark Souls, Ninja Gaiden 2, Tales of Vesperia, Nier.

There is some good shit on Live Arcade as well, such as: Shadow Complex, ilo milo, Castle Crashers, Super Meat Boy/Bastion (unless you have the PC version).

I've most likely forgotten something. But these I think are the creme of the crop.

xbox has so many good games but for exclusives i agree with gears of war series, alan wake, and halo series, particularly reach for competitive multiplayer. if you have experience with pc games then you might find the fable series too simplistic (atlhough i only played the second one). the worst game is halo wars.

There are few 360 exclusive retail games but the real diamonds are found among the exclusive XBLA games.

well since Alan Wake is coming to PC this spring, you might wanna play that on there (depending on either how old your machine is or if you don't care where you play it)

Singularity is pretty awesome. It's an awesome, BioShock-like plot, but with much better gunplay and gameplay.

Stacking is pretty good. Try LA Noire if you're into adventure games.

Beat 'em ups aren't that popular on PC so if you want to try something new and crazy then yah Bayonetta is really cool.

You can catch up on all that Metal Gear crazyness by getting the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Gears of War is a cool franchise and the first game still holds up quite well!

IF you haven't played it on pc yet Mass Effect is great

My personal favorite Dead Space or Dead Space 2 are amazing games!

You can also try Batman: Arkham Asylum or Batman: Arkham City without the copy protection nonsense
