I was just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for freeware or free indie games. I enjoy playing just about any genre, so any good games will do.
Recommendations for freeware/free indie games?
ib is a great freeware horror game: http://www.mediafire.com/?cjsrb04pxtg71ai
I Wanna Be The Guy: Gaiden (LINK) - A "Hardcore" Contra-like game where everything wants to kill you.
Psycho Waluigi (LINK) An extremely well-made Super Mario "clone." Honestly, this is so good that I swear Nintendo had something to do with it. Oh, it focuses on Waluigi and his "Psychic powers." The game is fucking awesome.
Seedling (LINK) A Zelda-like game that has a really good story, slew of characters, and tough enemies/bosses. I really recommend giving this one a shot if you happened to enjoy Zelda-esque Dungeon-Crawlers.
Ib (LINK) A 2-D "SNES style" Horror game that actually gets to you at certain points. Overall it is incredibly enjoyable and some of the puzzles will leave you scratching your head while a woman in a painting chases you - intense.
Treasure Adventure Game (LINK) A 2-D Platformer RPG. Don't let the simple name turn you away, this one is really "deep" and a lot of fun. I recommend giving this a shot if you like exploration and RPG's.
That's all I've got for now, there are a ton out there. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Also, check out this guy. He is generally where I get a lot of the "spotlight" indie games and occasionally they are free. :)

@Video_Game_King: The concept sounds unique, but I'm unsure whether I would like to delve into this.
Yume Nikki is a great surrealist exploration game with a wiki full of people writing long interpretations of the game's meaning if you're into that sort of thing.

Wow. That game really takes the "don't judge a book by its cover" saying to a whole new level. I was floored by it. Great recommendation!
