And boy was that a ridiculous movie. Ridiculous in a good sense. If it makes sense I really liked the film, but I'm still at a loss as to what I can really say about it. Has anybody else seen it? What did you think?

It was so ridiculous, but that's what made it great. I felt that some bits were trying too hard to be edgy as it tried to use challenging themes from other movies (ie. sexualising the pre-teen girl character).
I really felt it was a great movie though, and would recommend to all my friends. Something tells me it will be a sleeper hit though.
Seen it twice. I love it. Big Daddy and Hit Girl are incredible. I felt that Nicolas Cage was back to his Face Off/Con Air/The Rock coolness, which was a joy for me.

I also saw it today ;) and really liked it !! Hit Girl is awesome
I read that the opening sales weren't as high as expected but I have a feeling they will make up for it this weekend. I've heard from a bunch of people that it was fantastic. If word of mouth works as I expect it to, then the movie will do great.
i saw it last week and loved it. Big Daddy is an amazing character and i think it striked the perfect balance between humour, action and the violence helped it all along. cast was brilliant as well and i would definitely recommend going to see it.

I haven't read the comics, but the highlight of the movie was without rival Hit Girl. To the point where Kick-Ass became just a catalyst for Hit Girl to show up and whoop some ass. I was looking on Comic Vine and there is some info on the new comic series (and hopefully movie sequel) and I sounds like the next one will feature more ass kicking by Kick-Ass. Plus, according to the writer of the comic, a new villain named either The Motherfucker or The Cunt. Genius.
@Krystal_Sackful: Don't know where you heard that the comic was awful; I've read the first two issues (you can get them on your psp if you have one) and I thought it was pretty damn good. Standard Mark Millar with awesome pencils by JRJR. Have yet to see the movie though
