Move over iWatch, the real deal is finally here. Look at that equilateral triangle, Apple can't do that. #gamechanger

Really? Hmmm
Truly the watch we've all been waiting for!

If you had a watch, you'd know it wasn't 8:15pm at all.
Also, if you think about it, it's strange that they would use the shapes in those places as they were (IIRC) originally used to represent button numbers related to the number of lines in the shape. ie. Circle =1, X = 2, Triangle = 3 and Square = 4.

I wear a watch.
The genius thing is that it's just a watch. It's like a message to the industry making smartwatches, and consumers. What do you need and want in a watch, what do you think consumers need and want in a watch.
(Ordering mine later in May to wear with my suit & tie outfits.)
I don't think it's some kind of message at all. It's just a cheap watch, being sold right alongside the Official PlayStation Coffee Mug and T-Shirt.

FORTY FIVE DOLLARS!?!
It looks like something you'd win with skee ball tickets.
Yeah, there isn't really a continuum of watches. It's pretty binary when it comes to watches:
Those are your two options, there is no middle ground. This PlayStation watch doesn't look luxurious enough for me to think it costs $300, so that puts it in the former category.
@bisonhero: I almost fell out of my chair when I saw the price. That is literally a two dollar watch.

Paramedics.
I'd buy it for $15 max.
I was expecting to see a picture of a man with a PS1 belted to his arm. I'am disappointed.
That looks kinda dumb, dumb enough that I would spend a few bucks on it, because sure.

Err, people who know how to read the dial without having to think about it like a chimp?
I work at Starbucks and some dude went to pay with his watch and there was a second where I had no fucking idea what he was doing when he awkwardly was extending his fore arm towards me.
That would go perfect with Big Boss's leather jacket.
Then EVERYONE that saw you would know you liked video games. Unless they don't know much about video games, then they may just think you look a little silly.

I do. Who would want to take their phone out of their pocket in all the situations you're in during the day, some of which make it impossible, while you can just look at your wrist? I get that people like Jeff who are stuck in an office all day with their phone just there don't get any benefit. But watches are so much better for telling time than a phone overall. Not to mention, they look cool.
