The 1000th Quick Look Approaches...

So, including EX's, there will soon be 1000 Quick Looks, which is quite a phenomenal achievement.

Let's all guess what it's gonna be! And of course congratulate GB on a fantastic job.

Wow. I still remember watching my first QL of 'Crash Time: Autobahn Pursuit' . That was the beginning of a long and beautiful relationship.

That's pretty amazing. I don't really want to think of the hours I've spent watching all of these.

Oh man, 1000?! My first interaction with this site was the Borderlands Quicklook, I wanted that game so bad I just had to watch every video on the net, and eventually found my way here. I'm pretty sure I've been back through and watched every Quicklook there is, and now GiantBomb and Tested are my most viewed websites by far.

That means I've probably spent around 500 hours watching these Duders play Video Games, and even more including the Happy Hours and TNTs.

That's what, 21 days of my life?

Also, about 8 hours watching 2 dudes build LEGO...

More please! :)

Yeah, that's really the thing that makes this so crazy. You're not the only one.

I was going to say Mass Effect 3 should be the 1000th, but that's not quite close enough.

In the meantime, they should take the 5 worst and 5 best games they can think of and do one continuous Live QL and play all of them.

Or just have Brad play the most difficult game they can think of on the hardest difficulty they can think of. It'll be a great going-away thing from him.

The 1,000th Quick Look to be all 1,000 Quick Looks layered on top of each other with the audio track from the Wappy Dog Quick Look played backwards.

There will be no HD option.

In theory those Game Room quick looks are incomplete, I dont think they covered all the games avalable at launch or in the first few weeks. There is also the 2-player only games. Perhaps Jeff dosent want to know and he is lying to himself, he isnt done with Game Room yet...

Wish I could easily find out how much time I spent watching (nearly) every QL. Then add that to the time I've spent on Bombcasts and every other video feature I watched, including both BLLSLs.

That might be for the best, though. The answer is probably terrifying.

In all seriousness, it would be cool if they got the entire crew together (including Dave and Drew) and maybe even made an event out of it. Nothing too crazy, just 30mins-1 hour at most. I don't mind what they do either way since I know they got other shit to do, but that's just an "if I had my way" sorta thing...

If they aren't doing something special, then I choose Pokepark 2.

The podcast alone is gunna push you over 500 hours probably. There have been 268 of them, at probably an average length of 2-2.5 hours. Quicklooks are probably about the same actually, averaging at 30 minutes. Plus probably about 100 hours for TNT/Happy Hour (there were between 40-50 of each, I think).

This is just guestimation on my part though so who knows.

What was that crazy stoner game they did a QL for a year or two ago? It was a PC game that was one of the weirdest games they've covered and had one name in the title (I think?). I'd love to see that again.

They should do a "best of" featuring high lights of that game, the time Jeff "tricked" Ryan into a Game Room QL, and others.

I'm still always surprised that it's come this far. It seems like the Arrow Pointing Up podcast/blog jus started the other day... and here we are years later and a thousand quicklooks later. Johnny V better be involved in the 1,000th.

It's always cool to see the people that didn't know these guys from before and found the site through their video content and are now not just members, but subscribers.

I noticed this last week too, I doubt they will even acknowledge it in the quick look though.

Yeah, it'd be cool to see everyone together doing a Quick Look for a game that would accommodate that number of players/spectators.

My first was the Dragonball Evolution quick look. Unfortunately, I don't think anything will ever beat that glorious QL.
