The Conduit Tech Trailer
I have about as much interest in watching a tech demonstration on the Wii as I do in watching a tech demonstration on the original XBox. Time has left that caliber of hardware behind.
The appeal of tech demonstrations are to see something that's graphically impressive by any standard, like the Crytech tech demos. What's the point of this, to squeak out the "Looks great for a Wii game" reaction?!?
Getting involved in the engine business using the Wii as your sole platform seems, in a way, pointless. It's like seeing how fast an athlete can run a marathon wearing a backpack full of bricks.
"Fix that gay HUD, remove that gay gun model, and give us some enemies that aren't already in Half-Life 2 and Halo.Fixed. But seriously I agree with you this game looks like a Halo/Half-Life last gen rip off that is destined to fail. And then, maybe, just maybe, this game could not be destined for fail."
Why the fuck would they even do a tech trailer and release it for people to look at....people release tech trailers when they have impressive visuals and features in a game that showing them off make people "wow" at, or at least thats their intention, but showing a tech trailer for a game on the Wii will never do that so its pointless. Also if you think that water was impressive or pretty much anything here, you've apparently never played an Xbox 1 game.
"the blur effect was interesting, the game does not wows me visually but the gameplay looks tight, i'm looking forward to playing some death match."It visually impressed me for a Wii game, we will see how it turns out
