I seriously can't be the only one who hated Dishonored.
Obligatory: You dirty heathen!
Somebody had to do it.
Just wanted to post to reflect the fact that I am apparently the only voter for the 331st game on the list, Fortune Street. For those who haven't checked the full list, that is the last game on the list; it is the last-place entry, with one single vote placing it at #10 on a list. Granted, it's tied with the 26 games before it on the list, including Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom from @Hailinel's list, CLOP, League of Legends, the Adventure Time game, Angry Birds Space, Puzzlejuice, Rock Band 2, the original Kid Icarus, and Slender-Man, a game separate from Slender: The Eight Pages.
Just wanted to say that Fortune Street is totally awesome and came out in Europe in 2012. If you have friends and a Wii (U), get on it.
Surprised that ME3 is on here for the amount of bitch moaning that so many people seemed to have. Other than that seems like a really good list!
Only one from my list made it on , Sleeping Dogs. However i've played all of them and agree there all quality games.
Pretty surprised to see Hotline Miami getting so many votes. I thought that game was... totally average.
Still a great list, really wraps up what was great about this year.
Thanks for doing this! I must have missed this thread when you first put up the results.
I liked Hotline Miami, but I'm kinda dumbfounded that it garnered enough votes to crack the top 10.
In the google spreadsheet, looking at the "Average Sort" tab is pretty interesting. I like seeing which games didn't necessarily get a ton of votes (and therefore weren't in the top 10), but when they were in someone's list, they were generally ranked quite high. Looks like Persona 4: Golden, Crusader Kings II, Dota 2, and Virtue's Last Reward were all games that if you played, you LOVED them!
Mark of the Ninja tanked in sales (60k on Xbox I think). I hope more people check it out because of game of the year lists since it's THE best and most accessible stealth game of this generation without a doubt.
