Anyone know what they are going to playing tonight? I haven't been able to finish the Bombcast yet, (possibility my answer is there) and was wondering if they still planned one for this week. I've heard a couple of game-names thrown around but nothing really finite and was merely wondering if I missed anything. Also, for the sake of further discussion, what do you think they are going to play if there isn't anything set in stone?

erm doesn't everyone at giantbomb hate max payne. is it going to be 2 hours of them bitching about it
Roughly around 90 minutes of bitching, going by the shorter length of TNT's lately. And Ryan still enjoyed it, even if he still prefers the first two. But, yeah, Jeff, Brad, Patrick and even Vinny have all been rather outspoken about their disliking of Max Payne 3, or at least the single-player anywhoo. Brad & Jeff barely played any of it in fact. An undoubtedly weird choice, but... I guess they couldn't find anything else...
I'd rather just watch them play some more competitive-cooperative Spelunky.

max payne 3 is awesome, the multiplayer is a blast, i dont get the hate it gets from everyone.
I don't think it's proper "hate", really. At least not in the case of it being this week's TNT choice of game. I guess that most people here are tired of first/third person shooters in general, nothing specific against Max Payne 3. I guess it would have gotten the same reaction if it had been, say, Spec Ops: The Line or Bulletstorm.
Besides, the community likes it when they play random shit like the SNES marathon some weeks ago, or when the play local co-op, like Dead Island.
Next week Spelunky TNT, guys. Spelunky.
Ah, Max Payne 3? Bummer. Not that I hate the franchise, never really played it, just not a very fun sounding TNT. Oh well, I guess we'll see!

theres alot of potential for some crazy stupid stuff to happen in MP3 multiplayer though. if people get into it, then its pretty amazing and not really like any other shooter out there. we'll see. im actually kinda looking forward to it, will be the first TNT i bother watching in months. i just hope they dont get all whiney and hate on it the whole time.
I thought the singleplayer took off when I hit disc 2 and the MP is a fun, but at the time I played it, cheater filled experience, but if they play the 360 Version I might try to get in on this.
EDIT: also the multiplayer might be good for a tnt thanks to the crazy bullet dodge stuff, like the time I bullet dodged down a stair well and got a double kill, or like how everyone on their last legs will bullet dodge through windows sending glass flying as they open up with an uzi

Bummed that it's Max Payne 3. Such a shitty MP mode.
how is the multiplayer shitty? people keep saying that but they never actually say why lol
i still play the multiplayer, its the most fun multiplayer ive played in ages. people diving out of windows, off buildings, all sorts of wacky abilities like changing peoples nametag colors, a game mode that has cycling objectives. with really good feeling controls. i dont understand the hate at all.
Jesus Christ how terrifying...But there has never been a better time for that Runescape TNT..

Totally.
I remember the first 2 hours of Max Payne 3 multiplayer being the most badass thing...and then I immediately got bored and never touched it again...

Just Cause 2 multiplayer?
I wanted this, quite badly, but instead we're getting

Max Payne 3, apparently.
that. I guess I'll check into it, possibly watch most of it. Still, I do wish that they'd done the Just Cause 2 multiplayer. Maybe they're still setting it up? Or maybe they'll just play Max Payne for a bit and do something else later?
