Was Squeenix ever loyal to Sony?

OK, first off, this is not fanboyism, or a troll or anything like that.
My question is, considering the downright obscene number of games with the tag FF on them(remakes, tactics, Crystal Chronicles, Chocobo Squadron, Crisis Core etc etc) it was fairly obvious that Enix goes where the money goes.

I think everyone did, during the press conference when they announced 3 games for the xbox 360 from square I knew it was coming, not the sound cocky.

I always thought Square Enix followed the system that sold the most and were they can get the most sales.
Nintendo over Sega, Playstation over N64 and when you look at the handhelds, the Ds over the PsP.

I think quite a few people saw it coming. They are a company, and they're loyalties lies with the dollar
