I'm now playing the original Silent Hill, and enjoy it a lot (it still kind of holds up apart from its dated graphics). I know of Silent Hill more than I do about it, and so far I've been noticing that these two characters have a lot in common, or at least Alan Wake and Silent Hill have somewhat similar aspects in them (they both lose someone in their immediate family, they're both in a weird atmosphere, both Harry and Alan left to their destination for a vacation, and both of them are writers). I just found it weird, because I never saw them in the past.
@NTM: I read the first guys post and that stuck in my head instead of wake. Same thing still applies though. The character never looked interesting to me.
