I like the xmb, but I prefer the newer 360 dashboard, and the whole concept of building an avatar and being able to play games with it,without it being a wii.
I haven't really had much time with the PS3's XMB, but between the two 360 dashboards and the Wii's, I prefer the new 360 dashboard. The XMB looks better imo than the new 360 dashboard, though.
Even though I like the Xbox 360's dashboard feature set more, it's true that the XMB is a lot more efficiently designed and such. It's better overall, hell it's even won design awards haha. The wii's a sorry mess, and my car dashboard's non-existant.
I think the XMB is elegant and easy to use. The Xbox 360 dashboard is too garish and filled with visual business. The Wii's channel metaphor is quite good though.
I like how in the new 360 dahsbord, all the games get a cool background when you select them and look at the stuff you can buy associated with that game. I also like how you can see what your friends are palying, and get a cool gmae cover art for the picture it shows of the game there playing.
none of em. the XMB is too cluttered to be of any use. NXE has everything buried behind ads. The Wii home screen can't show content from more than 1 source at a time.
I think the PlayStation 3's XMB is the best. However I'm still a bit disgruntled by the fact that when you boot up it automatically highlights PSN instead of the game in the drive.
I chose Wii. I don't have one anymore, but I remember that doing stuff was quick. From what I remember of NXE it was a little confusing (though I only had a 360 for a very short time). The XMB is nice, but I hate the little loading time when you switch horizontal icons (like network to games). None of the current console dashboards really wow be though, but the Wii is the quickest and simplest for me.
