It's been almost a month since the last "Dave and Vinny play a Random old PC game" segment. This has become one of my favourite bits on the site! Are they guys too busy playing new games? Or perhaps you are holding the segment in reserve so you can pull it out (frequently I hope!) as we come into a long dry spell for new-releases? Or is the segment just dead, perhaps replaced with "load your last save" (nooooooooooo!!)?
What happened to "Dave and Vinny play a Random PC Game"?
I imagine they're busy with stuff. Vinny probably has to do video stuff, and Dave probably has to do site stuff (or go to his old accounts and delete every embarrassing thing he's ever said).
It is the busiest period of the year for new releases. I imagine they are more than busy enough covering those at the moment. The random content is best served by being released during relatively slow times.
I'm guessing it's just a matter of how busy things must have gotten with all of the new releases. There hasn't been a Load Our Last Save for a bit either, hopefully those features will make a return soon, they're one of the biggest reasons I had no second thoughts about renewing my subscription.
Santa is guilty of this feature stopping because Santa makes all major companies release their biggest hits at the same time. This way, it is impossible for the children to have their parents buy every game they want, and Santa can deliver the ones they don't get to them for Christmas.

the real question is "what happened to Jeff's Hall of Fame"
It think it was last Jar Time or TNT where Jeff said he knows what it is but the question he has is whether he should do it in studio and take up the time and resources or whether he should just film it at home
This guy knows what's up. It's not like they upload a ton of stuff or do anything work related for hours on end for the users especially in December. The site is just dead thenI'm pretty sure December's the month to do random stuff. I mean, it's not that they are doing anything involving a massive amount of games and several hours-long podcasting.
I hope he decides to do it in the studio, obviously that takes up time and resources, but it is paid content. Mostly though, I'd just love to see it turn out something like Screened's video features or something like TANG. One can dream, I guess.@Dagbiker said:

I feel like the last couple of weeks have been a little light on subscriber only content. The whole thing is probably a bad idea, since they already spread themselves thin with all the content they produce. A new endurance run is coming too, so that takes away some more potential for random new content appearing on the site. Random (ass) PC game was a great thing and I hope it will return- in fact, random old games are always welcome no matter what platform they´re on.
Yeah he said it in the latest jar time. Its coming soon though guys dont worry, im pretty sure he said it will be before the end of the year.@Dagbiker said:

Btw, I think they should play The Daedalus Encounter.

They should play some Fallout 1, or 2
YES. The first one especially, because that game was hard as fuck.
It'll be back in the new year. Also, it's kind of weird how some people here seem to keep such close tabs on the guys' at-home lives.
AAA blockbuster games out the kazoo, it's no wonder. I'm sure 2012 will have its lulls, and we'll get some great throwback video content.November happened.
My guess is that GOTY videos happened, whic from the looks of them, took a bit of time to design, shoot, edit and mix in awesomeness.
