What is Comic Vine?

does anybody know if comicvine.com is like a sister site of gb? i am asking because the two websites have similar design layouts

Yeah, Animevice and Comic Vine are sister sites. Dave, Andy, Sean and all the other engineers work on those two sites as well as Giantbomb.

Now only if Whiskey Media will make BurgerPalace.com.  That would be awesome.

I heard that Whiskey Media was really owned by Bernie Madoff. The company is technically insolvent, but no one gives a rats ass so they just let it continue. It's actually a pyramid scheme whereby each new site must lure in customers to make more new sites.

So, is Comic Vine as vibrant and bustling as Giant Bomb or is it a tumbleweed-ville like Anime Vine?...nothing against Anime Vine, mind you, they have good news coverage.  It's just the forums are usually ghost towns.

And why is this sight "Giant Bomb" and not "Game Vine" or something like that?

1. CV is very active, on GB's level.
