What Would You Rather Have?
B.
I love good sequels but I rather see some risks.
Or C. a sequel to an original fun game that never got a sequel even tho it fucking deserved it.

A sequel, since the last is fucking impossible.
Why do you think it's impossible? Just curious.

I was originally going to write this but it had alredy been done.

I understand. I made this poll because of the whole "gamers don't want anything new" debate.
I love me some Elder Scrolls, but if I could get me something like ES with good combat and lore, I'd be all over that.
I love how people demand new stuff and then shit all over stuff that's different. For being different.
Just look at fucking Killzone 2. People still got a shooter game, but it was so very bad because it didn't feel exactly the same as every other goddamn FPS game.
A large pe- Oh, that's not what this thread is about.
A. But only if it's a proper sequel, not something thrown together. Also, if the last game in the franchise had a good conclusion I would choose B.
Edit: Now that I think about it, B does say a new developer, so I'm not sure how the two choices exclude each other.
i would like to see a new game. i think this generation is sequels after sequels.i am not really counting sequels from a last generation game to a new one, because to me they feel new.
i would also like to see a sequel like what bioshock infinite is doing. probably going to be a just like bioshock, just it's going to be in the air.
Well, to be fair, I do have a bushy mustache, and people have called me an asshole on several occasions.@Video_Game_King said:
@Axxol: Originality is an illusion. Every idea has been done already. Thanks Nietzsche.

Wario?
for competitive games, i like to see sequels that improve on the system of that game, such as a fighting game or RTS game. but when it comes to games with heavy stories, i prefer them to be one complete game, rather than running the story over multiple games when they could be coming up with more original work instead

Either that or Republic Commando 2.
Wait, I want to change my answer. That game needs a sequel like Gabe Newell needs a diet.
Neither option suits me. Innovative does not always mean fun. If I had to pick between the two choices I would have to say sequel because atleast I would know what I was getting into before spending my cash.
But I would rather choose option C: Just a good game regardless of numbering, prefixes, or innovation.

I would love to see a faithful return to the Syphon Filter franchise, it had an amazing story accompanied by superb gameplay. I would also propose a new Vice City, but this is purely out of selfish affection for the original combined with a lusting for better visuals.
Yeah, Syphon Filter is an awesome franchise. Even the PSP games were good down to the multiplayer.
