Lay off the MMO's til APB comes out.
Which MMO should I continue to play?
Get into some Champions Online when it's released

- I'm a full-time college student
- I've only 10 hours to play chosen MMO
- 15 credits worth of college classes
- 6 hours spent on each class per week
- 8 hours of sleeping
- 168 hours in a week
- 90 hours spent on classes
- 56 hours spent on sleeping
- 10 hours sexy gaming time
With these points in mind, I want to play an MMO that has significantly changed since I've stopped playing them. Wrath of the Lich King the latest, I leveled to 76 and stopped with me noticing how it still is all about end-game shit and that daily grind gets old (PvP is not my play-style). Age of Conan, I stopped playing over a year ago because lousy computer (now I have a better one) and failed to hold my interest.
I've recently installed these games, out of curiosity due to unforgiving (exaggeration) ads on the site concerning AoC, and BlizzCon going on announcing another expansion pack for WoW. Of course, any suggestions for future MMOs are welcomed, but I'm talking about the NOW. I must feed on virtual beings.
I can't see myself playing champions online for that much longer, it's gone as far as it's going with me, just seems the same over and over.
Continue with which ever you find more fun.
I watched about an hour of Champions Online, it's very repetitive, same old classic MMO formula don't be fooled. The cell-shaded look is ok but the textures are really generic, story seems kind of cool, powers look great. Traveling powers are given after the tutorial area, they are extremely imbalanced however.
One thing that sucks is that Cryptic will ban any and all Marvel/DC look-alike characters they come across. It's a shame, but it's not their fault. Customization is still the key focus with your character though.
I think there's more room for growth with Age of Conan. But obviously if you like WoW for classic MMO gameplay and you enjoy it more than modern MMOs keep with it.
I probably won't play too much WoW until Catacalysm.
Champions Online doesn't interest me at all, and I don't really know anything about APB.
Okay, I've research these Champions Online and All Points Bulletin games and both conceptually do not appeal to me. Being a superhero? The only "super" hero I've been interested in in my whole life is Batman. Comic books? Superpowers? Captain America? Pffffttt.
All Points Bulletin. Guns? GTA: The MMO? No thanks.

If you are not into either superheroes or cops & robbers then take a stab at Aion: The Tower of Eternity. It's going to be new (to the west), is very pretty, and offers some unique takes on the standard fantasy setting.
Well you could say Wow is the more casual friendly mmo, unless you get into raiding, then maybe Age Of Conan.
i cant do wow anymore... just like everyone else, but ive been in the aion beta and ya wow ish mmo with raids and 5 mans a little grinding a tweet for the "big guys said open beta announced next week.. not sure if it will hold together but 50% chance you can check out the game. only bad thing is theres only 2 starting zones asmodian and elyos. so if you do another guy in the in the same race you have an accout "bank" that can trade non binding items which is nice.but you have to lvl the same area every time you make a guy. but its a fun / new game i bet i could hold you till whatever comes up. ill be there hoping for a giantbomb guild for a group of us :) Luchadeer FTW!
" Get into some Champions Online when it's released "I tried too play the beta and my whole comp crashed...I need a need computer so bad
Woops, meant to choose neither. But if you do play one, World of Warcraft gets my MMO approval. *stamp*
