Will A 2mbps Download Speed Internet Work For XBL?

Hi all,

My parents are basically forcing me to move out, and well, I guess it's time for me to do that - I kind of need your help. :b I found a, hopefully, great deal with a local internet provider.. 14.99/mo. for 2mbps of download speed..

Now my only worry is will this be enough for me to play XBL games.. anyone have input on this? :)

MB or Mb?

2MB is fine and dandy.

2Mb is like... 250Kish a second.

Microsoft lists 3mbit as the recommended minimum.

According to Microsoft they recommend a minimum of 3 Mbps.

I'm willing to bet it's Mb. That's how providers advertise their speeds. (at least in the U.S)

I think it'll be fine, not that much data is needed to play online vidya games... it's all about the ping baby

Im on a pretty slow connection (2-4Mb) and its fine for live, but PS+ is another story.

It scares me that that is considered a great deal.

That's American ISPs for you. -_- Horrible indeed. Bring on more of that fiber, Google. It's taking too long.
