www.f***danryckert.com redirects to Giant Bomb LMAO

After going back and watching the 3/18/16 UPF with John Drake & Dave Lang, I happened to be searching for a domain for a business I am starting. Out of curiosity, I typed in www.fuckdanryckert.com & it redirects straight to the Giant Bomb homepage. Not sure how long this has been here, but I laughed my butt off so I thought I would share. These guys never cease to amaze me.

You might want to change the thread title since you're not allowed to have curses in them, friend.

With that said, thank you for this wonderful information. Might have to make that my homepage.

I miss Ryan Davis. I was reminded of *beep* Ryan Davis. No hate on Dan, I was just reminded of it.

Not as good as giantasshole.com. They should have put a little more effort in and linked it to his profile.

And NSFW concerns as well. I have no idea how, but it seems like tons of duders browse this site from work. Having a bunch of FUCKs on the home page could cause those lucky jerks some unwanted problems.

Not really a surprise. It's common for people to collect funny URLs for whatever reason. It's easy to connect that to a URL for redirecting.

Just fun fact: my research shows this URL is not owned by Giant Bomb (or CBSi).

Is there a back story to this one?

@tnecniv: Its been so long i don't remember exactly. I think it was something evolving the bomcast years ago when they where having fun with Vinny, but i could be totally wrong.

I don't know who impulse purchases domains other than like, Jeff G and Ryan Davis and Justin McElroy. Seems like the kind of wise use of money that Dave Lang might go for.

I believe it was game of the year stuff, the year with Saints Row and Skyrim(?). And when conceding to Skyrim, Vinny made jokes about giantvinny.com which redirected to the Saints Row III wiki page(it seems to be gone though). Then I believe it was Ryan who came back with giantasshole.com, which as you can see, goes to Vinny's profile. I could be wrong, but I think that's the gist.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dan has no idea how to register a domain and/or how it even works.

I missed the part where they drop F-Bomb on the front page without you having to click play on something.

I believe that redirects to Rorie's tumbler.

There used to be tons of little Easter egg URLs like that, but now only a few of them are left; even glorious batmanbatmanbatman.com is dead (Although I just realized it was reupped at batmanbatmanbatman.info as a tribute to Ryan, which is awesome.)

We still have http://cocainemountain.com/, though, which is nice? And rivalvideogamewebsite.com is just a straight redirect back to GB, which sorta counts.
