Your wish list for video game products to be announced in 2024?

About two weeks ago, AtheistPreacher created a thread of What games are you looking forward to in 2024?, then a week later, there is a new licensed anime fighting game called Hunter X Hunter: Nen X Impact (In development by Eighting/Raizing and going to be published by Bushiroad) being announced and there are rumors of Nintendo Switch's successor going to launch by fall 2024.

So this inspired me to create this thread and here is my wish list for them to be announced:

Edit: Xbox 360 era's Xbox Live Marketplace is going to close down by July 29th, 2024 and I'm going to miss it since I loved the Xbox 360 so much along with the PlayStation 3.

This is tough, because announcement doesn't mean it's coming any time soon. So, something I want could be announced this year, but not come out for 5+ years, which means I would rather it not be announced.

Would love to see new entries in these franchises: F-Zero, SSX, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Power Stone, Bushido Blade, Soul Calibur, Crimson Skies.

This is unlikely, but I hope Quiddich Champions turns out to have offline split-screen multiplayer modes, and isn't just some live-service thing.

Metroid Prime 4 revealed as a cross gen title, with the next gen version being mostly the same, but with higher resolution and ray tracing or something.

Star Wars Squadrons 2 with ships and arenas from all eras.

Squadron 42 gets a release date. What? It could happen.

@judaspete: Good choices, we've still waiting for a new F-Zero 3D installment for a very long time but I hope there will be during the next Nintendo console era.

Tekken 8 is coming out soon and I wonder how will the future installment of Soul Calibur is going to be like.

For Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, yeah be good to make the Harry Potter fans feel happy.

I hope Metroid Prime 4 is going to be good even though none of the gameplay footage has been released yet, I'm still curious about the next Nintendo console's hardware, but if it's going to be a hybrid console, then I'm predicting its performance is going to be between PS4/Xbox One to PS5/Xbox Series X/S. Just like how the Nintendo Switch's performance is between the PS3/Xbox 360 to PS4/Xbox One.

It will be great to see Star Wars Squadrons 2 set in the events of films from Episodes 1 to 9 as well.

Also, this is my first time hearing about Squadron 42 and I'm curious about this.

I almost forgot Crimson Skies (Xbox Games Studios' 1st party), anyway, if you never heard of a 2019 anime called The Magnificent Kotobuki, which is about a group of pilots flying their WWII planes to battle against the villains, and in the community, some say it reminds them of Crimson Skies because both have similar story setting and uses propeller fighter planes to combat.

Meanwhile, in Ace Combat 7, there are The Magnificent Kotobuki character symbol decals can be applied to the player's fighter jets.

@gtxforza: Have you heard of Star Citizen? Squadron 42 is the single-player prequel campaign, and Star Citizen is the MMO space sim part.

@judaspete: Yes, I heard of Star Citizen before and it looks so good.

Perfect Dark Zero remaster

@cikame: I almost forgot about this Xbox first party, it will be great to see it come onto PC and Xbox Series X.

Edit: I'm more familiar with the Halo franchise.

I think there's been rumors floating around now for a year or two about something Final Fantasy Tactics-related, whether that's a remake or a new game. I'd love to see that formally announced. Beyond that, sure, the next Forza Horizon seems like a safe bet, and I'm looking forward to that too. I'm curious what Nintendo has up its sleeve for the Switch 2 launch. F-Zero would be cool but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm also going to hope in vain that Konami continues to get its head out of its ass and re-releases more of its back catalog for modern consoles and PC.
