Spectacular cinematic released

Hey guys, I know most of you either play DOTA or don't care about MOBAs given the sites demographic, but Riot just release a very pretty cinematic for League of Legends. I figure this wouldn't get posted on the site proper so I'd link it here for people to admire some pretty spectacular CGI.

Also this leads me to ask what are your favorite cinematics from other games? Mine is most likely one of the HOTS trailer or Twist of Fate from Riot last year.

That was pretty awesome. Seeing those characters portrayed in CGI doing things you can't expirience in the actual game is really cool, makes them kind of feel more a alive in some way.

Oh yeah and Nautilus is just badass.

Why does Darius look so goofy every time?

Surprised that they allowed blood in this; didn't think the ESRB would let that go.

@rorie: First time in trailers they showed it, but the champion that cuts her has an ability that makes people lose HP and actually bleed so at least its thematically correct

I will never play this game. But I might if teh fights actually played out like this.

As for my favorite cinematic trailers? Blur does some really solid stuff. Just about everything they do is awesome but this one is definitely my favorite.

Also, As much as i hated KH2, this secret ending cinematic was awesome...

@rorie: That's EXACTLY what I was thinking, I was surprised at how damn violent it was!

Some of the facial expressions were also really well done, I especially liked it when the gun guy looked at the corpse of the guy the beastman just tore up, and then he looked away with a "God Damn" sort of expression. It was a really cool trailer, makes me kinda wish there was a game that actually played like that.

Why so much blood? That's entirely the wrong direction to take League.

Literally the most badass thing I've ever seen. Hairs on the back of neck: standing the hell up! This is why League is the absolute best!

Even as a Dota player I must admit this is awesome, but where is my Alistar ? Probably one of the most badass character in the game and he never appears in any trailer (only in the first one and it is quite dated)

Pretty interesting, though I kind of hate Ahri. Seeing Jax in action makes up for it a bit.

@rorie You'll notice you never really see the blood leaving anyone's body I don't think. It's on the shield. It's on the ground. And it flies into frame from below camera, but I think they were very careful not to have the characters have bleeding wounds. Even when big gun man shoots sexy lady it's off frame. I assume there are all kinds of loopholes for that sort of thing, just like film ratings.

@gunslingerpanda I don't know much about League, but isn't one of the Axe guy's main abilities to cause bleeding?

LoL not my thing that was pretty alright. Still not a fan of most of their character design though. Anyway cool to see that you duders got something like that.

Surprised to see activity on the board! I just started playing again after a very lengthy break (I don't remember much beyond Krog'Maw being hilarious and that I enjoyed playing Vladimir). Do we have an active chat room or anything? I'm DeathTrap82 on League of Legends.
