Btw, good job Vinny for trying to explain so much of the game. Sure, you didn't know all the details (and from what I played this game doesn't explain too much), but in other QLs, you guys mostly just play and comment on what you're doing instead of explaining how it actually works. Kudos!

The constant threat of losing your progress heightens the tension of the game. Definitely not for everyone, but once you get out of the starting area, you could get by by grinding souls on easier (relatively speaking) levels.

@tedbear: I've seen comparison shots and even though I don't think NGS2 looks particularly great, it's a vast improvement from NG2. Unless the comparisons were manipulated/unfair towards NG2
