well as a guitar player when i heard the news that Les Paul died  i thought people might like to remember him

I thought he died years ago

WHAT?!?!?!?  LES PAUL IS IMMORTAL, THOUGH!!!  WTF HAPPENED?! 
 
RIP - thanks for making a guitar that, while I really don't dig the fretboard and general feel of it, it gets a great tone with a Marshall stack on an Orange head 
 
Oh, and of course, thanks for giving us electric guitars in general so we can bang our fucking heads!!!  \m/ 
 
As a guitar player, this is a sad sad sad day indeed.

Sad to see such a great guy leave.
