I have to agree. When I saw the previews I thought it looked like the absolute dumbest idea for a show ever and I only accidentally watched it when a rerun was on 1 morning. It is actually pretty good. They aren't buying and selling gold watches and TVs. It is apparently a pawn shop in Vegas that specializes in high end items and the family that runs it along with Chumley is really funny. The play reruns quite regularly so if you get a chance I would recommend giving it a shot.

It's a great show. Unlike MOST of the History Channel's bullshit, you actually learn a little bit watching it. Also it's funny when they make it all dramatic when they bring experts in. Lol.
Yea I don't watch much History channel shows but this one has me hook to!!! Its funny seeing the crap that comes in there pawn shop!!! I'm waiting for a classic Donkey Kong machine to show up one day.
yes, i watch the show from time to time. i find it prettying interesting what people sell there. it is entertaining when the two fat guys screw things up. i like when they have a inspectors there and the person finds out that the item can be worth like $500 then they want the $500 instead of like the shop offering like $400.
the title of the show is kind of weird. christmas me and cousin were talking about it then another cousin is like ur mom is right there. i was like no pawn stars, she thought i said porn stars. they should have just called it like pawn shop.
I love that show. Though the acting can be pretty fucking annoying, seeing the prices on certain objects and watching them rip people off is pretty interesting.
When there's nothing on yes, and even then, when there's nothing on chances are I'm watching House re-runs. But when I'm not I'll occasionaly watch it, as in once in every two months.
I watch it religiously. Although the 2 super-obese employees disgust me everytime they're on-screen, especially Chum and his wheezing; the owner and his dad has "gentlemen fat" which isn't as repulsive.

Hells yes, i love that show. I love how they always rag on Chumlee. Hes a little bitch but funny. Its kinda repititive and my favorite parts of the show are when they show the restored cars or gear they buy, or even better, when someone thinks they have something valueable and paid a lot for it and want to get more, but then find out it aint worth shit. A funny one was where a guy brought in a gun and paid 800 for it, and thought it was worth 1200 now. He found out it was a fake and only worth 50 bucks. Funny ass shit. I am going to vegas in a couple weeks and am hoping to visit the place and see the stuff they have, maybe take something home. Maybe a gun...
