Are We Human? Or ar We Dancer?

Yesterday I went out to my local HMV and bought the latest killers album Day & Age. I wasn't looking for the album but it was 12 dollars and who doesn't like indie rock and roll.
I began listening to it and i was and i was surprised with the first track losing touch it was 4:15 seconds of radio friendly music. I guess this album is more radio friendly , even though the
previous albums have had really high radio play so i guess its not radio but club play wat eves its alright and  nothing special but doesn't give a good first expression ( well it  does , i love the album art ). The next to song's are the " singles" for the song and there Spaceman and Human, witch in my opinion are the best killers songs  ever.  With the lyrics from  Human "Are We Human? Or ar We Dancer?" leaving  a lasting expression. The last tracks are pretty good i especially like neon tiger and i hated this the world  we live in. It ends with a goodnight farewell witch is also really really good so i finished listening to it and it reminded me how much i love the arctic monkeys since they did this album but so much better, so i guess Day & age is a good album and i recomend you listen to it, i wouldnt buy it unless you love the killers, and don't mind that they have sold out ; )  I dont know why im posting it on a gaming forum but i had loads of time to kill so please critize cause i know my writing sucks.

I don't listen to much Killers but I'm down with the Arctic Monkeys. I just picked up Franz Ferdinand's new album Tonight. Now there is some real dance music we can all get behind.

Human grows on you.Honestly there really arent any new bands that are as good as them,but that isnt saying much.New music sucks.

Indie rock ain't my thing.  Meanwhile, Misery Signals' Controller is owning my life at the moment, along with the new album from The Faceless.  So, there ya go...

The Killers are probably in my top 10.

The lyric is actually "Are we human? Or are we dancer?".  Not dancers.  Those are two totally different things.  I'm not really sure what he's trying to say when you take that improper grammar  into account.

And to Bigboss, who says there's no good new music being made.  Sigh.   I'm so tired of hearing that.  If you care about music so much try taking the time out to find the modern releases that you enjoy.  The indie music scene is a wide and wild world, with something for everyone.  Just search it out.

Is there any punctuation we're missing in the lyrics? I mean, it is 'Or are we, dancer?' or something. Otherwise, it does make zero sense.

The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers came out in an MTV interview to confirm his lyrics, which is in fact “are you human, or are you dancer?”. He wasn’t too happy when some people thought it was “denser” instead. He was quoted as saying “They think it’s nonsense. But I was aching over those lyrics for a very long time to get them right.“

He acknowledged that the lyrics aren’t grammatically correct, but he also commented that he is also allowed to do what he wants.
The inspiration for the lyrics was from a Hunter S. Thompson quote - ‘We’re raising a generation of dancers’.

The Killers have been bad since there first album. I don't think I'll bother with this album, but I will consider getting Franz Ferdinand CD.
