Graduated way back when with a B.A. in Econ and Japanese.
Are you currently in college or have gone to college? (Uni is acceptable too) :D

Currently a Sophomore studying Computer Science at the University of Illinois.
My alma mater! I got my useless Bachelors of English Literature there back in '03. I regret nothing!
So, how do you enjoy working at McDonalds? (Just kidding!)
Wow, quite a high percentage of graduates on the site! In the UK, our last govermemt were aiming to get 50% of the population university educated. This has caused the inevitable debate of graduate courses being dumbed down and irrelevant. What's the experience in the US?
You've just erased any doubts I had@wmaustin55 said:
Yep. Starting law school this Fall. Actually really nervous about it, to be honestAhh, don't worry about it. Sure you have to read a crazy amount of the dullest, most depressingly literal text on the face of the planet but at least you get to scream "I AM THE LAW" at your friends and family during arguments. That's worth it, right?
Went to college 2 years, got my AA degree. Took 6 months off, and going back for my AS in childhood education in the Fall.

I just graduated. Still not sure how I feel about it.
This. I'm still pretty ambivalent about the whole thing, but that probably has a lot to do with plunging myself into a summer job at the earliest opportunity. Well, that and I did not attend the actual graduation ceremony!
I'm finishing off a teaching certificate at the moment, with a view to moving over to Japan at some point in the near future. I think when that actually happens, everything will start to come more into focus.
i have a Bachelor's in English and a Teaching Certificate for secondary school. working on a Master's in English. and when i'm done i'll probably start on the coursework for a PhD.
I just really love being in school. it's way better than real life.
Well, I think college is a little different here in the UK to some other places. More like a US community college.
Anyway did 3 years at college, got 2 diplomas in programming and web development but I decided in the last year of the course that I didn't wanna pursue those as a career. I finished it but was a bit of a waste really.
I graduated in 2008 with a degree in Social Studies Education. I teach American History. I'm mulling over getting my masters in history or administration.
Got my bachelor's in computer science last December. I'll be starting my computer science masters at DigiPen this Fall. Waiting to start is the worst
computer science at UNSW, hope to make games when I'm out of here! Surprised there aren't more comp sci grads here, it is the natural path to take if you want to make games.
We have:
1 or 2 years of preschool
6 years of grade school
5 years of high school
Than you chose
1 or 2 years of professional school (plumbing, carpentry, electrician, secretary, web design...)
or
3 years of CEGEP (public college for tech like IT tech, lab technician, nurse tech, ...)
or
2 years of CEGEP (public college for pre-university)
Than its 1 year to 7 years of university
Is our school system in Quebec weird or is it just me?
An unexpectedly educated crowd, considering that about a quarter of Americans graduate with a bachelors' degree or higher. Yet over 90 % of the Giant Bomb community are attending, and those who have already gone have more than one diploma apparently. This is the awesome power of a self selecting pool of respondents, I guess. Those without a university education do not click on the thread.

Got my Associates degree in Liberal Arts (aka nothing) last semester. Transferring to a four year school in the fall for Creative Writing.
Yeah, I have an Associates in Music Performance(guitar). But that was nearly 10 years ago. Christ I feel old! Unfortunately, as you said, a Liberal Arts Degree( at least an associates), is basically useless. I still have a copy of the recommendation letter from my primary guitar teacher for Berklee College of Music, but I'd be paying off student loans until I was nearly dead, lol. Shit, I finally paid off the ones for the 2 years I took a few years ago, and that was a community college. Also I would have had to move to Cali. from Texas, and leave my family behind. So I just said to hell with it. I can play guitar like a motherfucker, though, so that's something, I guess. Good luck with your writing!
I have a semester left to get my B.A. in a field that will not help me get a job. I never took school seriously enough until it was too late. Also, I am first generation in the U.S. from my family and I do not want to blame them but I had very little direction. I guess the 4 year degree is not entirely useless it will help me find a job but not something that I can be passionate about. I think after I graduate I will get extra schooling to get certified so that I can narrow my choices for jobs. However I am currently in the beginning stages of coming up with a 3 year business and cash flow plan so that my cousin and I can open up a liquor store. We'll see what happens.
I'm beginning my second year in an education degree with math specialization. Gonna whip all those high school kids into shape, hopefully.
At the moment, I am not nor have I been to college. However, this is upcoming year will be my senior year in high school, so I've certainly been preparing for the experience. At the moment, I'm shooting for Rice University, which--although a notably difficult school to get into--seems within my grasp
