Banned from gamespot...

Well yeah its true... i got banned after being there almost two years.. i was a level 34 with over 13000 posts. over 60 reviews. over 100 videos uploaded. and almost 300 blogs...
If you were one of my friends from gamespot then you can add me here since im no longer going to be a member at gamespot... not only that i was the leader of the most awesome union ever.. we werent that big of a union (about 200 members) but still it was awesome and active compared to most other unions.. i only wish that giantbomb had unions...
so yeah im going to be this gaming website only pretty much now.. so over and out

Welcome man, to the forum of the lost and broken members that escaped to the freedom called Giantbomb!

Iv been a member there since February 2006.it was fun,but it quickly went down the shiter after Rich left.But the mods have always acted like they have a pinecone up their asses.Havent logged on there since last August.

oh so you were one of those dorks who was always reporting people....glad you got banned then. fucking dorks got me kicked off the site so many times just for saying a certain word, or because they took me serious when i was joking around, like when i said san francisco is gay capital, they banned me for a week because some douchebag like you got offended and reported me. 

Alright folks I think this has now come to the point where the discussion is going less from welcoming someone to GiantBomb and more into the realm of plain bashing Gamespot and the fine upstanding Moderators there.

I'm sure some of you have had your confrontations with them but Moderating is a tough and thankless job. Don't blame the individual for enforcing the rules, like any site the Moderators simply enforce the rules that the site owners create and decide on. In essence those men and women are just doing a job, nothing more and nothing less.

Plus we've had enough topics on the whole "I just got banned from Gamespot" subject by now. Let it go and forget about it, or take it up with the relevant people on Gamespot.
