Best bands of the 90s?

What's a 90s band? One that was created in the 90s? One that was created and died in the 90s? One that performed throughout the 90s? Because I see all of the above.

I love the guitar in She's So High, one of my favorites.

• and I would list out more, but a lot of the bands that keep coming to mind had stuff in the early 80s and present.

Since we're playing High Fidelity lists, here's five that I'll change my mind about in the next 18 seconds:

Any grop that got big in the 90s, they may have formed in the 80s but didn't get recognised till the 90s.
