Another rise against song from their upcoming album.. Kick ass.
Song is called Entertainment
Buahaha yet another one.
That's not too bad actually.
Not great by any means, but certainly not bad.
I would say it's on par with that song from GHIII, Prayer of the Refugee (the only other Rise Against song I've ever heard)

"Rise Against are a bunch of bleeding heart left wingers. People should keep politics out of music. It's bad enough when it leaks on to message boards."Thats like saying "people should keep relationships out of music". it is something they are very passionate about and they are expressing it through one of the only outlets that they had in the underground chicago scene, punk rock. As long as they are portraying a positive image there is nothing wrong with it.
"adam_grif said:Dragging politics into their songs makes them quite boring. It's just as bad when people bring religion into it and you see people singing about how much they love Jesus Christ. I'm looking at YOU, U2."Rise Against are a bunch of bleeding heart left wingers. People should keep politics out of music. I'll admit, last year when I first heard about Rise Against, there was a period of confusion where I had to discern that it wasn't RAtM.
But yeah, I'm with you Gunner: Some of the best songs are regarding politics i.e, War Pigs by Black Sabbath.
I'm also a fan of War by Edwin Starr.
Nowadays, it's a whole lot more in-depth as to there left/right wing views, but I anticipate that this is because there is so much more blatantly wrong with the world today that it makes the material for potentially good music unlimitied.
