Well, we had a lengthy thread on Mary Jane last night, so I think it's only fitting we have one on the legal drug everyone's hooked on: Caffeine.
In case you're not aware, this legal form of speed is most of your favorite sodas, teas, coffees, and in a specialized condensed form in energy drinks.
Let's hear about your favorite caffeine ingestion vehicles. How about some funny stories about caffeine, like that one time you stayed up two weeks straight cracked out on Starbucks & Monster? How long do you think it'll be until we all have heart attacks? How much speed do you think is legally allowed to be placed into drinks and sold in American stores? Don't those 5 hour energy shots taste like ass?
Right now I'm pounding down a 12oz Red Bull and feel like I could punch a hole in the fucking wall. I probably will before the day's out.

Caffeine is a drug. Like any other drug, it can be and sometimes is addictive."
"Endogene said:same here, they lasted for a couple of months.... really liked those things, pretty heavy on the caffeine"Any one tasted Coca Cola Blak (with no C) ?I remember seeing it in stores in the US, but not for long."
not sure if it came out in the USA
"
the taste could be described as a mix of coca cola, coffee and toffee
"Would that be pronounced "Blake" since it's got a long A?Demilich said:
Demilich said:"The great thing about Monster is that it tastes like shit, so you feel like a man when you drink it."Oh, so it's like beer.

"I said shit, not fermented vomit."Beer-bashing on a videogame website?
*sniff* I've never been so proud.
"keef said:The standard fruity variety are insignificant in the beverage war. However, sip a Monster Russian if you haven't already. I found it to be chugworthy ~the 30 second mark. *burp*"The Monster beverages are tasty. Specifically, Loca Moca, Russian, and the Irish thingie."Really? I can't stand Monster. "
[Why is it that I imagine everyone in this thread talking very, very fast?]
I had to do this presentation for a final exam [which is pretty much every final if you're an architecture major] and I had to turn in 3 30"x40" drawings, fully rendered, and an 1/4" scale model. I drank 2 or 4 cans of DoubleShot Expresso, some cheap energy drinks I found at the local corner store, and who knows how many pots of black coffee.
This caffeine binge started 2 days before the presentation.
I commute to school, but I swear when I say that I could have walked all the way there and not be tired. You could have probably seen my heart jumping out of my chest as I was presenting my work but I think I got through it without a hitch. I got an A, even though some of my linework was shaky. After the presentation, I still had energy to burn. I did a lot, to say the least, but the most memorable thing was when I ran around in circles in the kitchen.
I love caffeine.
