You'll have to change your username, depending on what your answer to the question is.

Strangely enough, that username sprouted about the time that I started strongly believing in life after death. So now that I seem to be falling away from that I'm trying to think of a new meaning for it, because despite its original meaning slipping away, I still like it.

BLAMMMM THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

Seriously, this profile needs to be shut down.

#7 Posted by Intro (1208 posts) -

No I don't. There's no evidence showing that and I believe all religions, gods and afterlife worlds are equally fake. Not gonna sit and argue about it here though, as that would be pointless.

#8 Posted by tallTuck94 (553 posts) -

I find the concept completely ridiculous, so no I don't.

#9 Posted by FancySoapsMan (5841 posts) -

I believe in death after life.

#10 Posted by WolfHazard (479 posts) -

No, I believe everyone goes to hell, and hell is an episode of Tosh.0 on loop, for eternity.

That's option #4.

To answer, no. I consider myself both atheist and practical, so I would say no. And now I have to stop thinking about it before I get too existential and evaporate in a puff of logic.

@Yummylee: Why are you so upset? I don't understand :(

This isn't meant to be an argument, just a poll, I'm interested :)

Nobody that is reasonable has anything to contribute beyond a simple "yes" or "no". I find that people who spend their days arguing this are often incredibly annoying and unreasonable. It almost always boils down to "YOU CAN'T PROVE THAT GOD DOESN'T EXIST" and "YOU CAN'T PROVE THAT HE DOES, EITHER!"

Uh, the thoughts of that are horrible. Can this thread get locked?

I believe in bans after threads.

Kind of? I mean, I died and came back to life, but if you're talking about Heaven or Reincarnation or Some Other Word from the Persona 4 Remix Album, then hell no.

Nope.

I can honestly say that I am a firm believer in death after life.

#30 Posted by Dylabaloo (1549 posts) -

It's called death for a reason, no going back.

No but I do believe in death after life.

#41 Posted by alexl86 (627 posts) -

No. Why would I? It's a man-made idea, a sort of immortality to comfort us in what at times seem like a meaningless existence.

Yes.

You're going back into your mother's vag before you die?

That's gross. Is she still even alive?

Those arguments suck. I really wish people can just accept that there are others who don't agree with what they believe. Diversity is good.

I'm pretty much right on the edge of believing and not believing. I'll have a near-death experience, then get back to you.
