like have you ever thought of yourself as looking totally different then you see what you really look like?
do you ever get surprised when you look at yourself
" not really with looks, no. but if i ever watch videos or listen to messages i've left for people, my voice sounds totally different than i hear it. like it doesn't even sound like "me" to me. it's really quite odd... "That's because you are hearing the vibrations of your voice box from inside your head, where as other people are hearing it from out of your mouth. What you hear on an answering machine is what you sound like to the rest of the world, only you hear yourself differently.
" I've never experienced that, but a friend of mine uploaded a video of me on Facebook and it is weird watching myself. "It's not really you. You're not the person you were when it was made. Entropy has seen to that. It's a stranger. A perfect, unknown stranger, and you should fear him. Just like you should fear the man in the mirror.
You're also not your fucking khakis. Goes without saying, really.
Sometimes, I see my father's face staring back at me in the mirror and I ask myself, "What the hell happened?"

" No but sometimes I can't reconize my voice "Both of these apply to me, but I do seem to get fatter each time I see a mirror xD

Kinda the same here, I always get bored with my facial hair and crave into something different every 2 weeks or so.
" @pencil said:I heard this before and find it really interesting, I sound fine from me hearing myself speak but if I hear something recorded I sound like a fuck head but I think it's just because I'm not used to it." not really with looks, no. but if i ever watch videos or listen to messages i've left for people, my voice sounds totally different than i hear it. like it doesn't even sound like "me" to me. it's really quite odd...
