Yeah but you're saying we can only talk about video games on here or something? And that just isn't the case. I mean, I guess the point you were making, in hindsight, is that you agree with getting rid of useless spam, but using off-topic for legitimate discussions about things outside of the realm of games, whatever that may be, is totally fine.

But yeah, people who are going "WERE BEING CENSOREDDD": No. Off-topic =/= mindless spam. You can talk about whatever the fuck you want, but if you want to exchange one-liners, non-sequiturs and memes, take it to IRC/PMs. That does not equal censoring, like, at all.

I'm not trying to say there should be no off-topic. My post probably came off the wrong way. Sorry about that. I was just trying to say that primarily, people should mostly be focused on, you know, video games. But like you said, the off-topic needs to have some kind of structure. Most people just read Off-Topic as "POST RANDOM SHIT HERE", which it is not. In short, I agree with you completely. My post just came off bad."

Yeah the original was life_is_shit, who I personally think was an alt to begin with because it was his first post, saying a girl broke up with him in middle school and he was going to kill himself.  I created life_is_great and talked about what a nice sunny day it was, eating ice cream in the park with my girlfriend.  Then someone else created life_is_mediocre and posted about how it's just the same old.

It was hilarious.
