Question, why would you include Norway and Sweden and not the other more popular European countries? The priorities of this list are questionable. Also, no Mexico? Frankly I would probably choose Mexico over Canada.

But why would you want to leave the US.. that is silly. You get all the movies and games right when they come out, you can get cheese in a can, plus they got Cincinnati chili, and such.
Honestly any of those would be fine with me, as long as I could get a job in the Video/Post-Production field or something related i'd be happy that and the fact that a 24 year old 6'4" White American dude living in Japan is gonna get alllllllllllllll the ladies. However I even considered just leaving NYC and giving Cali a shot for a while; give myself a new life in a new state; once or if I got settled have my stuff shipped down to me. Just bring some clothes, a laptop and money.
Why is this directed towards only US citizens? I mean, I know we are better than everyone but I'm pretty sure the US isn't the only country you can leave from.
Eh, I'd rather go to Barcelona or something for the good seafood. Plus the architecture is a lot nicer. I don't like modern industrial-ass design. Give me insane Gaudi buildings and epic cathedrals, and 300 year old ornate housing blocks.

It's not the fact that Asian women are standing in line for them, its that Japanese women are treated less than Men in Japan and a chance of getting out that country is a big deal to them they are often looking for more than what the American man is looking for. Honestly if you are some fat disgusting weeaboo slob going to Japan for the "ladies" good luck, but a decent/good looking professional will do well if they have social skills and speaking some Japanese wouldn't hurt either. lol.

For me it has nothing to do with Obama or politics at all, some people want a change of scenery and to experience a different culture.
i'm american and have been fascinated with sweden for years. i visited for the first time last weekend and felt very comfortable there. had a great time.

i've been thinking of somewhere near yellowknife, oslo, norway, somewhere in sweden, scotland, somewhere in or near manchester, england, belgium, or edmonton or calgary, alberta. i could easily do the ice road trucking in yellowknife since i've driven on frozen lakes while on trips/loads waaaaaaaaay up north, and i am currently a truck driver here in the states. dry cold doesn't bother me one bit.
Norway or Sweden would be pretty high up my list, but Canada takes it. I went to BC 18 months ago and it was brilliant. It's like America but way less people are up their own arses about themselves. On the other hand, their nuclear power plants are among the most unsafe in the world, so I'd have to consider it.
@zudthespud: People in Europe seem to think that all Canadians are the nicest people on earth, But people are douchbags everywhere trust me. Some of the meanest people I have ever met where from Alberta for some reason. Lets not turn this into another America bashing thread.
It's between Canada and Ireland. I'd like to go the land o'me ancestors and see what it has to offer, but Canada would be my first destination in the event of a draft or something.
