Another one of these? Well, obviously TechTV.

A year ago I would have said TechTV, but now I have to say G4 all the way.

g4 this is dumb g4 is WAAAAY better.

TechTV was great, I miss the screensavers. Good thing, Revision3.com is now the home of many from TechTV, so check them out! Also, Leo has a great site over at Twit.tv, awesome tech podcasts for everyone.

 TechTV because it was a full fledge gaming station.

Any channel that puts them on the back burner is massive fail. G4 sucks.

I could go either way but since I had satellite I never saw the good side of G4TV before the merger so I would say both. I wish people would stop knocking X-play for being biased. Its what they do, they review video games. The video game industry uses rubber stamps which include the typical smooth controls but bad level design etc. . . . etc . . . . ad nausea

Well, when G4 first became the lone channel it was a gaming channel. Now look at it. Xplay is the only thing really worth watching anymore, but I dont mind stuff like Ninja Warrior.

i used to love tech TV.....all they did was take out all the cool tech stuff and replace it with boobs.....i mean not a bad plan in theory but g4 is just average

It depends. Old G4TV was great, but now it's not good and I honestly never saw TechTV stuff.

Either way, it seems like it's never going to be as good as it used to be. :(

TechTV had professionals who actually knew their stuff with exception to martin sargent which starred in a funny blooper when he hosted The Screen Savers. G4TV tends to trend toward the lowbrow crowd with crap like cheaters. All of the G4tv host seem to be hired for there dry whitt or a large rack. Its just like fox news. Everyone who happens to be a lady and a host on Fox News also had a Breast augmentation to make there boobs bigger. The female news cast on fox also seem to be ditsey and not very bright.

G4 is such crap now, 80% of the shows are reruns of cops, cheaters, and ninja warrior (or other Japanese gameshows). I don't mind the Japanese game shows but wtf does cops and cheaters have anything to do with what G4TV is supposed to be.

techtv was the shit but now its all dead

TechTV all the way, the only good thing left on G4 is the Game Makers reruns while all the others are pretty much(as described above) older shows on rerun or bad shows that I just can't watch.

Olivia Munn is much cuter.  I prefer G4 way more.  They have some GREAT podcasts.

Morgan knows her stuff... but Olivia is way hotter.

Same, the worst was when Discovery Wings became the Military Channel around the same time. The BBC in the United Kingdom still have Discovery Wings but us Americans get stuck with lots of military stuff and no general aviation shows. No more Airport or Bird of a Feather. Parris Island Phase one sucks. What the hell does the shoot out at the OK corral have to do with military? They could show more interest in conflicts that DON'T involve the United States in some way but no."

how about G4techTV back in 2003 that was pwnsome. But otherwise I would say TechTV to bad G4 killed TechTV and turned into an MTV wannabe. (both of which fail hard)

TechTV Canada was an awesome channel.  I always used to watch the ScreenSavers and that cool show that always talked about various spy stuff along with old-style X-Play that was actually funny but also informative.

techtv wasn't nearly as entertaining.

it was more of an info spot, g4 is like the perfect station for college kids
