Capturing the perfect photo. I took this one right after a the rain fell.
Getting the perfect image.

@super_machine: Great picture. I've been throwing around the idea of buying a camera and getting into photography, but I don't know where to start.

Thanks. A good point and shoot is fine if you just want to mess around a bit. But if you really want to get into photography I would recommend getting a DSLR. There are some good comparisons on CNET if you are thinking about going that route. I took this photo if a nikon D3100, which is one of nikon's entry level DLSR.

Perfect? Someone's a bit full of themselves...Nice capture but let's not go crazy.
Well, I don't claim to be a professional at it. But, the experience of being there when capturing a unique moment like that is what I consider perfect. I could almost imagine hearing someone playing an ocarina in the distance.
@Vodun: Photography is art. Just because it's not "perfect" to you does not mean it's not "perfect" for him.
The photo is stunning. Except for the brown water. But what can you do? hah. Any other color of water would probably wreck the photo/look unnatural/odd. Would change the characteristic lighting.
