Gintama. Not the best but my favorite.
Giant Bomb's favorite animated TV show?
I've been reaquiring every JLA unlimited episode. I used to like those batman and superman WB t.v shows alot. Even that old x-men animated series was dope.
Spawn.
That shit was dark as hell. I think I was, like, ten or eleven when it first aired. And I attribute my taste for dark, gruesome shit to that show/comic almost entirely.
South Park is the only one that has lasted for me, I've been through phases of watching alot of The Simpsons or Family guy but eventually I've grown bored of both of them. South Park still going strong though.
EDIT: Wow, I answered this one 6 months ago. Same answer then, so I'll add that I still dig what I said then and I too now love Gintama and Mitsudomoe surpassed Panty & Stocking as my favorite anime from last year. Also, I'd include The Regular Show now that I've warmed up to it.
i must have watch the M.A.S.K movie about 500 times as a kid, it had a trailer for an animated film called Bravestar or something along those lines, it looked fucking mental, but i never saw it, robot horses and lens flair from sheriff badges is all i remember about it now, anyway.... back on point, the M.A.S.K movie was awesome, and i definately never want to see it again, cos it is probably terrible and would ruin my childhood
nowerdays i only really watch southpark and futurama, but in that past iv definatly had fleeting affairs with alot that have already been mentioned, ones that i dont think have been mentioned yet include- Neds Newt, Drawn Together (over all quality was pretty bad, but there are 2 or 3 episodes that are worth a watch) Captain Planet, Garfield, Johnny Bravo, Doug, Bleach (anime, but it always felt a little more cartoony than most of the other anime series iv seen over the years)
Batman: The Animated Series
If I see it on T.V. while flipping channels, I'll stop and watch. Even after all these years, it's still amazing.
Growing up I loved the X-men animated series, the Spiderman animated series, and Dragonball Z, but looking back now, those shows weren't especially great.
Now, I'd say my favorite animated action show is Avatar, and my favorite comedy show is undoubtedly the Simpsons. While the last 12 seasons or so haven't been that great, they don't ruin the 6 or so amazing seasons the show had.
King of the hill has to be my fave, with Batman: the animated series, Futurama and Samurai Jack following close by.
