I have only recently discovered the goldmine that is horror/comedy movies and i have been watching them quite a bit over the last week or so and after the real big ones that everyone knows about i have run out of material.
movies i have seen.
dead alive aka braindead.
bad taste.
severence.
black sheep.
shaun of the dead.
please recommend some good ones, they dont have to be recent, or really good ,i am just itching for some more gore and laughter
horror/comedy movies
Dude, Evil Dead 2! It has Blood everywhere and Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams.
And it's pretty goreless, but with Ash being more awesome, Army Of Darkness(Evil Dead 3).
What the hell, see the whole Evil Dead trilogy. It's awesome.
There's also a fantastic Swedish flick (They all speak English) called Evil Ed, which has no affiliation to the Evil Dead Trilogy.
Club Dread was pretty funny even though I like the Broken Lizard guys other flicks more.
I'm a big fan of unintentionally hilarious gore flicks or "video nasties" as they're also called like Driller Killer.
I haven't seen it yet, but there's an upcoming Norwegian flick about Nazi zombies called Red Snow which looks sufficiently gory.

Btw it`s dead snow : )
I didnt like Bad Taste much and I havent seen Black Sheep yet but those New Zealanders do like a good horror comedy dont they. Shaun of the Dead is awesome though and I am sure that someone has already mentioned the Evil Dead series. I heard good things about Repo The Genetic Opera though.
Black Sheep is FUCKING AWESOME!!! Love that flick.
"Audition is the only horror movie that almost made me shit my pants, totally worth it.Audition isn't exactly funny

"Black_Rose said:Ehh...It's not supposed to be funny? I'm talking about the Japanese horror movie, not sure if there's another movie called Audition."Audition is the only horror movie that almost made me shit my pants, totally worth it.Audition isn't exactly funny

The thread was about horror/comedies.
If it was about pure horror flicks I'd mention shit like Imprint, the original Omen, the original Romero Dead trilogy etc. etc. etc.

Night of the Comet http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087799/
Eating Raoul http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083869/
The not all of the ones I've listed are graphically gory, but they do fall into the horror and comedy genres. Also, I had a good time with them.
Two I haven't seen mentioned here:
yeah i just watched eight legged freaks that was preety good
and the remake of fiday the 13th is funny
Oh man, Silent Night, Deadly Night!
It has this fantastic scene!
And after this some guy in a Santa suit shoots and kills his dad, tries to rape his mom and then slits her throat all in front of this kid.
HILARS!
Audition is straight-up "horror", not horror/comedy. I put horror in quotations because it's not even something I would consider a horror movie. Japanese "horror" movies are very iffy. By all means, though...the Tartan Asia Extreme label has some pretty good gorno stuff, like Bloody Reunion.
FEAST
"I haven't seen the second or third ones, but the first one is FUCKING FANTASTIC!!! Great flick, and Henry Rollins is a motivational speaker in a pink shirt. "I HAVE to see this!
Violence of the Lambs, not sure if it's out yet but it looks damn funny, genetically tampered sheep go on a massacre, I think.
