movies i have seen.
dead alive aka braindead.
bad taste.
severence.
black sheep.
shaun of the dead.

please recommend some good ones, they dont have to be recent, or really good ,i am just itching for some more gore and laughter

Dude, Evil Dead 2! It has Blood everywhere and Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams.
And it's pretty goreless, but with Ash being more awesome, Army Of Darkness(Evil Dead 3).
What the hell, see the whole Evil Dead trilogy. It's awesome.
There's also a fantastic Swedish flick (They all speak English) called Evil Ed, which has no affiliation to the Evil Dead Trilogy.
Club Dread was pretty funny even though I like the Broken Lizard guys other flicks more.
I'm a big fan of unintentionally hilarious gore flicks or "video nasties" as they're also called like Driller Killer.
I haven't seen it yet, but there's an upcoming Norwegian flick about Nazi zombies called Red Snow which looks sufficiently gory.

I didnt like Bad Taste much and I havent seen Black Sheep yet but those New Zealanders do like a good horror comedy dont they. Shaun of the Dead is awesome though and I am sure that someone has already mentioned the Evil Dead series. I heard good things about Repo The Genetic Opera though.

Black Sheep is FUCKING AWESOME!!!  Love that flick.

Dead/Alive is probably the best horror/comedy you'll find anywhere.  Shaun of the Dead is really good, yeah, but it's not Dead/Alive.  That's a horror fan's wet dream!!!  JUST LOOK AT MY PROFILE, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!  lol

I would suggest checking out Flesh-Eating Mothers.  It's not totally MEANT to be a comedy, but it's pretty cheesy and totally fucking awesome to watch with some friends and go MST3K on.

Ehh...It's not supposed to be funny?  I'm talking about the Japanese horror movie, not sure if there's another movie called Audition.

The thread was about horror/comedies.
If it was about pure horror flicks I'd mention shit like Imprint, the original Omen, the original Romero Dead trilogy etc. etc. etc.

Hot Fuzz? You would be meaning Shaun of the Dead right? Hot Fuzz was the police action flick.

Re-animator http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re-Animator
Bride of Chucky http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bride_of_Chucky
Bubba Ho-Tep http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubba_Ho-Tep
The Fighteners http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Frighteners
The works of Troma Entertainment http://www.imdb.com/company/co0019150/
Blackula http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068284/
The Thing with Two Heads http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069372/
Night of the Comet http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087799/
Eating Raoul http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083869/

The not all of the ones I've listed are graphically gory, but they do fall into the horror and comedy genres.  Also, I had a good time with them.

Edit; Thought we were talking about horror OR comedy :-p

I'd say Suan of the Dead is my favorite by far.

-Jack Frost
-The Leprechaun
-Freddy vs Jason

Edit: Now that I think about it, these aren't even Horror. They are more Slasher genre than anything.

Black Sheep is so rediculous it's awesome.

And the remake of Friday the 13th is actually a lot funnier than it's supposed to be...well then again slasher movies made in that style are hard to take very seriously:P.

Oh man, Silent Night, Deadly Night!
It has this fantastic scene!

And after this some guy in a Santa suit shoots and kills his dad, tries to rape his mom and then slits her throat all in front of this kid.

Audition is straight-up "horror", not horror/comedy.  I put horror in quotations because it's not even something I would consider a horror movie.  Japanese "horror" movies are very iffy.  By all means, though...the Tartan Asia Extreme label has some pretty good gorno stuff, like Bloody Reunion.

Anyways, another one that I forgot to mention:

FEAST

I haven't seen the second or third ones, but the first one is FUCKING FANTASTIC!!!  Great flick, and Henry Rollins is a motivational speaker in a pink shirt.  That's fucking win all by itself.  Plus, Jason Mewes gets FUCKED UP in that movie.
