My top 5 favorites: Brann Dailor, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Martin Lopez, and Blake Richardson.   I have many more I admire, but they come to mind.

  • @TheMustacheHero said: " @r3b3lr0b0t: Well... I don't really think any song is "absolutely amazing" but I do think this is a pretty good song. "I second this. The Fall of Troy FTW.   As for the topic song, it is ok. I like the lyrics, but the singer is somewhat annoying.

  • The Last House on the Left (Remake): ****1\2 out of 5.   I've never seen the original, but putting that aside, this is a shocking and excellently made horror film. It is fairly concise, which gives it rewatchability, and it doesn't hold back in terms of violent content. The story itself is good, and it has little to no boring moments. Recommended.

  • 5 years ago I was 10.   Things that have changed:   My Social attitude (I've become a bit too antisocial to be honest, I have more Aquaintances than "Friends").  I'm lazier I feel more mature, and emotionally hardenedI've had a girlfriend, and a break-up That childlike "I HATE SCHOOL IT SUCKS, ITS SO BORING" attitude is wearing off. I realize without school I'd waste away at my house either in this computer chair or next to ...

  • Before my 360 got the E73, I had recently finished Bioshock and really enjoyed it. So naturally I'm very excited for Bioshock 2 which should be coming soon.   Another game I have on my mind is Modern Warfare 2, which if I get it, will be my first entry into the Call of Duty series. And it seems like a good time to start:D.    Finally, Brutal Legend. Which is self-explanatory, I love ...

  • @JuMP said: "The trouble I have with deeming something "obscure" is that it's relative to the context that you're comparing the music to. Like if I mentioned The Chariot, mewithoutyou, Living Sacrifice, Zao, Becoming the Archetype or Underoath, many people may say "yes those are obscure", but someone who's familiar with the "Christian alternative/metal whatever scene" would recognize if not, be familiar with most of those names.  So while none ...

  • Hybrid Theory is a solid album. Meteora is not very enjoyable (Breaking the Habit is the standout, along with Nobody's Listening), Minutes to Midnight is shit (Songs like No More Sorrow are listenable, but I could never get into that album).   So overall, I don't have a problem with their music really. But I rarely, if ever, listen to them anymore.

  • I've yet to meet anyone (in real life) who has heard of Windmills by the Ocean, Celeste, Jesu, or Earth. A lot of other bands I listen to I rarely find people (like Mastodon, Between the Buried and Me, Opeth) but have a few fans.

  • Jesu (Post Rock\Industrial\Sludge)   Blotted Science (Instrumental Progressive Metal)  Atheist (Jazz\Death Metal)  Mastodon (Progressive Metal\Sludge)  Melvins (Very influential early heavy grunge\sludge group)  Windmills by the Ocean (Post rock\sludge)  I also recommend (for the hell of it), the album Selling England by the Pound by Genesis and Colors by Between the Buried and Me. Also the band Protest the Hero, check out the song Spoils.

  •  Maybe some people just get good with practice? I mean camping can be an effective strategy, but most good players are either:  A. Equally good at various strategies B. Work well with their team C. The host  (I'm mostly referring to Gears of War 2)

In The Loop was excellent. What a fine script and acting ensemble. Again, another pick for Screenplay superior to the Hurt Locker.
