Hurricane Sandy - how are you holding out?

Power went out about 3 hours ago here in CT. Several big trees went down and our old shed was torn in half. Dusting off the old Vita and 3DS.
I'm going to go buy a Vita today! So if the power does die I will be set.

It's not too bad here in WV but the ice rain could be a problem...
Yeah, it doesn't look too bad at Concord University in Athens, at least compared to past snowstorms that have hit the area. Lots of snow out, but according to some of the residents in my building, there's a good bit of ice in the parking lots.

This looks terrifying.
nothing too terrible happened where I am in central Jersey. got pretty windy and i saw some trees down when i took a little ride around town this morning, but i didn't lose power or anything. hopefully my AC3 pre-order arrives soon so i can have a little day one marathon thanks to an unexpected day off work.
I heard a lot of places around me got flooded or dam, but right where i was it felt like almost nothing. Didn't lose power, but got a whole lot of school cancelled. So I guess ill be catching up on some backlog. As for people that Sandy did hit, best of luck duders.
Boston here. All good mostly some tress down, I heard that on the south shore of MA there was more power outages and flood damage.
Haven't left the apartment yet here in Brooklyn, hopefully the car made it alright (I thought I found a good treeless spot). I have a studio in Red Hook that almost certainly sustained major flooding, but I haven't been over there yet.
I saw a bag flying in the sky here in LA. It was a small black bag. I was surprised that the gentle breeze was strong enough to pick it up for a few seconds.

South Jersey, we had power all night and today.
Trains going in and out of Philly are still shut down, so I can't go to work. Hopefully they'll be running tomorrow.
Those trains should be fine, most MTA trains will be needing repair due to flooding in the subways.
I have family in Rockaway Beach and Long Beach and their homes and towns are devastated. No power, no water, no cell service, houses are demolished, cars have floated away. Here in Brooklyn, things were a bit tame. We lost power last night for about 5 minutes and it came back on. No subway system is absolutely the worst case scenario for the city. None of us who live in the outer boroughs can get into work.
