Get a basic 360 because it's not physically demanding. Even grandmothers can discriminate among games to pick out the shovelware. Alternately, find a GameCube or Nintendo 64. Gaming can be a really cheap hobby if you find old stuff.

There's just as many crappy, easy to play kids games on the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. This automatic assumption that the Wii is the best console for a non-gamer is such horseshit.

Thanks for acknowledging that the PS3 and 360 has just as many crappy kiddy games to play. Refreshing to read that.
The difference however. is the plethora of fun, family friendly and good multiplayer games that are uniquely exclusive to the Wii.
