In this fine episode, we bring in PR Coordinater at Harmonix, John Drake to discuss The Beatles: Rock Band, Joan Rivers, and his own band, The Main Drag. Also being thrown into this crazy bunch of hooligans is Alex Rubens (ajr123 on Giant Bomb) to talk about his experiences at PAX and possibly become even closer to the podcast. As promised, Andrew elaborates on the zombie virus evacuation that happened at his school recently. Games discussed include Scribblenauts, Batman: Arkham Asylum, DIRT, and DIRT 2. It's a short one, but it sure as hell packs a punch full of things that we don't usually get.

Today, I mention some games I played like The Beatles: Rock Band, Super Metroid, and Scribblenauts, being a current generation fanboy, and the podcast I'm on, Minor Issues. I didn't really think out my stance on the topic, but I'll try better next time to substantiate myself because it sort of turns into a rant.

So I do this thing every year where I make a playlist of songs that remind me of events that happened from June to May (summer vacation begins the year and the last day ends it). It helps me keep my memories intact and produces a giant pool of nostalgia over time. This year is already starting to be a big one since last year had fourteen songs while I already have ten for this one and there are months to go! Perhaps this will inspire you to make your own playlist of the year. I also provided Youtube links with all the songs. Enjoy!

1. A Hard Day's Night - The Beatles
2. Standing Next to Me - The Last Shadow Puppets
3. Pass The Time - I Come To Shanghai
4. Southern Point - Grizzly Bear
5. Two Weeks - Grizzly Bear
6. The Commute - I Come To Shanghai
7. Satellite Skin - Modest Mouse
8. Potion Approaching - Arctic Monkeys
9. The Rake's Song - The Decemberists
10. Disco City - That Handsome Devil

In my first video blog, I hit on my thoughts of the end of the Matrix Online, talk about some 'Splosions and a man doing them, and express excitement for some upcoming games including Shadow Complex and Scribblenauts. I do, however fail to mention that I'm missing Mothership Zeta when that comes out next week, but I'm also ready to play that as well.

Minor Issues just keeps setting their own records as we make room for one more person in discussion, returning from last week by popular demand (I'm sure it was there somewhere as it was with us) Matt McMillan (tokyochicken) brings himself together to be awesome once again. Other Giant Bomb podcast hero, John Stull (MaSuTa) of Broken Lampcast notoriety challenges all who approach when we talk about games we've been playing including UFC 2009 Undisputed, The BIGS 2, Shin Megami Tensai: Devil Survivor, The Secret of Monkey Island, and how Fusion Frenzy is really original. We also have a fairly heated discussion on Microsoft's recent patenting of Drop-in-drop out Co-op in squad based shooters and take a spectacular email and read it in an uncomfortable manner. Send in more of your emails to minorissuesmail@gmail.com for great success!

When has there been a time that I didn’t agree with crashing beautiful and expensive cars? Ah, yes, real life. Thanks to Burnout Paradise, gamers can now treat their gas pedal-happy hearts with crashing, jumping, racing, drifting, burning, and the ability to defy physics by turning your car over and ...

Tons of people in class ask me if this is the next Halo. When I say no, they're dissappointed. Just because it's a First Person Shooter, doesn't mean that it fits in the same class as Halo because BioShock redefines the single-player fun and innovation of the FPS genre and ...
