I think computers should have a breathalyzer.

I was just thinking that the internet may be a better place if they could block out people from posting if their blood alcohol level was checked.  I know that the only post I ever had deleted was on a night when I may have had too much to drink.

What are you talking about. I decided to make my Shadow Complex guide while I was wasted. And given the first version sucked nuts, it was the fact that I had started it that allowed me to turn it into what it is now.

I always forget to go back and check if I posted anything on here when I was hammered. I bet there's some crazy shit floating around here. I remember deleting something that I posted on here and just left up on my screen all night. I read it in the morning and had no fucking idea what I was trying to say.

Its rare when I can tell that someone is drunk on the internet.

Maybe instead of stopping people from posting it could just post your blood alcohol level that way it could be like at a party where everybody knows the guy is really drunk and nobody takes him seriously.  You know when the drunk guy comes up and calls you something really stupid and his friend stops you from punching him in the face by pointing out he has had a fifth of whiskey and you give him a pass. 

Didn't Gmail institute something like that? You could turn on the option and it would ask you a series of simple math problems if it was after a programmable time to see if you were drunk and if you were, it would lock you out for a set amount of time.

I think that testing positive to alcohol should automatically send out status updates to everyone on your contact list about exactly what you're writing about an looking at. The internet would be a far more interesting place if it did.
