O I wish I could use American media websites... and British and European ones for that matter...

Anyways, yes that was hilarious. I wish I had a knife, a big board, and an endless supply of chickens. I'd fix this economy quickfast

Why can't you use American or European media websites?

Because the Canadian government lets Canadian media companies block them in the name of protecting "National interests". When I try to use Comedycentral.com or anything like that, I get a stupid error message.

Also, that shit about good news is bullshit. It's segmented into 3 minute clips which are of lower quality than the pirated sites. So I just use iTunes when I feel an episode is worth my money, and one of the other sites that stream South Park episodes when they're up.

Giant bomb thankfully doesn't have any Canadian competitors (either that or they don't know about it.) Because I can still tune into their ridculous crap; you know, the stuff that makes the internet worthwhile.

Actually he's full of shit, I was on The Comedy Network and I watched the whole episode in high quality. I even watched the Daily Show's interview with Jim Cramer uncut. It's a complete exaggeration and total bullshit.

Link me, please.

The URL the Comedy Network links you to when you click that site brings me to 3 minute clips, so let me know where to go.

Also, I've had news clips from en.xinhua.cn, cnn.com, bbcnews.com, and other media websites. I'm not saying it's a blanket censorship like that in the People's Republic of China. But any infringement on my right to the use the internet is far more bullshittish if you ask me.

My friend uses a proxy for some news sites he can't access in Canada, but he tells me the bottleneck a proxy creates is too much of a drain on bandwidth to be worth for multimedia applications. He subsequently linked me to a different site that had South Park archives.
