What the hell guy, put down the coffee cup when you're being interviewed!
What the hell guy, put down the coffee cup when you're being interviewed!
As much as I regard going to CES for the specific purpose of covering video games as a fool's errand, that sentiment applies to Macworld doubly so. Thankfully, our foolish friend Steve Palley over at Slide to Play took the hit last week and scoured Moscone Center for iPhone games with mixed results. He chatted with a couple of iPhone game developers (including the dude who made Twitterriffic, my #1 favorite iPhone app at the moment,) used iTunes gift cards to lure random, confused-looking show-goers to try and beat him at various iPhone games, and found himself speechless at the sight of a gigantic banner for iWork '09. Watch the video below and marvel at Steve's crazy hair, his incredible physique, and his fabulously teensy microphone!

Fieldrunners and Puzzlequest are must haves for the iPhone.

Puzzlequest issues with lost hero saves, seem to have been fixed with syncing to remote servers to back your saves.  This is done automatically.

i never see myself downloading this crap or any other game for the iphone. the only things worth downloading are the few good apps on appstore like google earth, and of course, a lot of stuff off of Cydia when you hack your iphone.

iphone is not a gaming device, deal with it apple.

I am on the verge of getting an iPhone.  I agree that service is too expensive, although in my case it seems work will cover part or most of my bill, so that works out.  Ive been debating for a while between the iPhone, the G1, and the BB Storm.  The iPhone has really matured and has tools that is useful for my job (IT), so it seems like the winner right now.

I pay 100 dollars for service.

When I unlock it and use Tmobile my service will cost measly 28$'s with everything I had before.

does either of those have the full functionality on the internet?

If it was cheaper than both those than no.
