If he is I'm sure this Persona 4 decal Audi S5 would be in the top running. I mean really, who wouldn't want to drive this around town bumping dubstep or Warren G Regulate? I know I would...

Man, Rise is on that car TWICE.
Thrice, infact! Hood and on both sides!
4, if you count the rear license plate board
Now, that I'm over the initial weirdness of how dumb an idea this is:
Man, that car is ugly as shit. He just plastered a bunch of characters over every square inch of the car. Way too overcrowded and he didn't even have the courtesy to stick pieces of concept art drawn in the same style(Charlie, Chie and Yukiko are in their cg art form, while both Rise's are hand drawn)

I thought the same, actually. There's no artistry, no real craft. It reminds me of those advertisements and signs that will just randomly have a loony toons character on it just because.
It looks half-baked. If you're gonna do something like this then you should go crazy but it looks like whoever did this just got bored mid way and slapped some random patterns on it. Well, not that it really matters since I doubt anyone would go around driving it. It would probably look better on a small, Japanese city car.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the garishness of it all is deliberate. The car depicted in the original post belongs to a special subset in Japanese hobbyist circles known as itasha. The word itself is supposed to be self-deprecating, since the word, based on its kanji (痛車), literally means "painful car." It's an acknowledgement that the gaudy nature of plastering stickers all over the car and making it a shrine to whatever you love does indeed detract from the overall aesthetic value of the car. Considering the printing costs and whatnot, it's an aspect of otaku culture that few actually partake in. You almost never actually see these cars anywhere outside of special conventions dedicated to showing them off; virtually nobody actually drives them on the roads here in Japan for pretty obvious reasons. I myself have only seen one in the wild in the time that I've been here and that was by pure chance that I came across it. So it's best to just look at that car and think of it as somebody being dumb with their love of Persona and cars simply because they can. The people who partake in it know full well that the final product is not going to be a pleasant thing to look at.

Agreed, and there are many better pieces of Soejima's you could use on this car instead of the ones they put on there.
I wouldn't even think of getting a P4 car that had Chie on the hoodI wouldn't even think of getting a P4 car that didn't have Chie on the hood.
@mutha3: Oh yeah, I'm not saying that I think the guy who owns the car is any more sane knowing the nature of his hobby. You kind of need a severe devil may care attitude about people seeing that stuff on your car to actually go through with an idea like plopping stickers all over.
Garish or not (and its definitely in the former), I find myself more concerned with the art he actually chose to grace the car. Whoever did that missed a trick not selecting yellow as the main color also. Definitely A missed opportunity to be even more dumb!
That's both hideous, and a waste. I hope those stickers are easily removed because they won't be helping that car's resale value. It's not even the base model Audi A5... it's the sportier S5, so he's probably spent a good chunk of money on the car and hopefully not too much on the stickers. I'm not into Persona, but that guy seems to have went so deep into it his vision was obscured.
