I basically feel that it probably won't end the world, but they don't know if it will or not and they shouldn't do it. Its basically like when they dropped the first atom bomb. They didn't know if it was going to vaporize the atmosphere and kill everyone in the world, but they did it anyway. We got lucky that time, we might not this time.
