i'll see it regardless of quality
pretty much.
I'm looking forward to it and cannot contribute any meaningless "witty" comments since I'm not a cynical jackass.
3 was pretty bad but I really like 1 and 2. There is a hilarious quote on the tape (or VHS as Americans would say) cover for the second where Spielberg describes Vince Vaughan as Hollywoods next leading man up there with the greats. The second film is pretty good for all the shit it gets. Lets hope this new one is good.
I'll be interested only if they retcon the Triceratops. Then I'll know they're serious about dinosaurs.
That part in Jackass 3D was preeeetty funny though. But that movie had surprisingly great 3D.@Clonedzero said:
i really wish 3d would just die already.
i HATE the way it effects direction. its always super awkward shots of stuff flying at the camera. its horrible.
Not always. When used to add depth, it's great. It could even be revolutionary once somebody taps its potential. Unfortunately, wallets speak louder than words, and "MY BALLS ARE FLYING AT YOUR FACE 3D" is still going to play to packed houses.
@ohwiseone: 2 is pretty good honestly since it has Goldbloom, and keeps to the original story. I would suggest you see it. Obviously, it won't out-do the original one.
On a side note, when I was younger the vehicle's from the second movie, the giant trailer truck and the two other Mercedes SUV's, came to the Cleveland History Museum years ago. My grandfather works security there so I got to go in all of them and sit in the seats and all that fun stuff. It was pretty badass.
As long as they keep Tea Leoni and William H. Macy as far away from that movie as humanly possible, it might be okay.
Oh and they probably should stay away from any "hybrid" stories.. wasn´t something like this planned at one point? More "human" dinosaurs? Worked so damn well for that 4th Alien film. And by that I mean it sucked hybrid balls.

I'm glad they didn't go in that direction, but those are some pretty cool creature designs.
Oh man that would be f'in awesome. I'd really like to see the franchise talk about how dinosaurs would of evolved if they didn't get wiped out through mass extinction. So yes, I want a "planet of the dinosaurs" film.
