Left 4 Dead 1 or 2

Maybe I am just weird but when I bought L4D 1 and 2 on the Steam sale I had to play through the first one when everybody else told me not to bother.  I am just one of those that has to see the evolution of a game before I can appreciate where it came from.  Hmm, maybe it is just me.

I vastly prefer the first game to the second.

Nah as good as the characters are in the first, the second just has better diversity and more infected which is always fun

Left 4 Dead 1 - Superior Maps.
Left 4 Daylight 2 - Superior everything else, except Maps. Also Coach is a G.

Even though they're essentially the same game I enjoyed the first much more than the second.

L4D1 was great. L4D2 is also great, though I'll admit I don't have as much of an affinity for the characters. They're still both worth playing because from a gameplay perspective they play really differently.

L4D1 if you like survival horror.   
L4D2 if you like fucking zombies up.

I prefer the L4D survivors. That in addition to the fact that I have nostalgic memories attached to the first game makes L4D one the superior game in my books.

The survivors in L4D are better characters but L4D2 plays so much better.
