A friend of mine who I was in school with won Miss Ireland and represented Ireland in the Miss World/universe... whatever the fuck it was. Take my word on it, I am not gonna put her name up here because that's pretty creepy. It was pretty fun to watch the event knowing someone who was in it though. The bookmakers were making a fortune on people betting she would win. Unfortunately, she did not win. She lost out to some plastic amazonian woman from space.
