Sure whatever. The reason that they are on the island is kind of a letdown, but I guess anything would be compared to the crazy shit you think up in your own head.
Across The Sea killed all my hopes, all of them. I will watch it, and I'm sure it will be a fun ride, but if I saw Darlton now, I'd definitely give them the finger.

Also, yeah. I'm totally stoked. I don't know if anyone else saw it or not, but io9 had an interview with Cartlon Cuse and Jorge Garcia. They were asked how they were preparing for the inevitable backlash over the finale and Jorge said something like, "Well, "Across the Sea" came out and that was kind of a test run. So yeah, we're totally ready now."
Yeah, I'm totally stoked for the finale. Desmond is my favorite character and I'm assuming that he will play a huge part in it. Ben is my other favorite character and he's going to be awesome. I predict that people's thoughts on the episode will hinge on what happens in the last five minutes. I predict that it might be lame. After it airs, we can all come back here and talk about it. It will be fun.

Its people like this that I feel sorry for. The show is actually easy to follow, its just talking about the key plot points like time travel, alternate dimensions, and magnetism that make people think its super complicated.
@Landon: You've beat me on this argument but another reason why I've never watched it because a bunch of people I've talked to said you had to follow the series from the first season or the beginning of a season or you're completely lost about what's going on. Another thing would be that I wanted Lost to be like the movie Survivor were they were just surviving, the time traveling, alternate dimensions, and magnetism aren't my cup of tea in a type of show like this. I'm also not that big into T.V. dramas most of the time so I've passed it by for many years and am notorious for not giving T.V. shows a chance if the concept doesn't interest me.
For me the show has the same flaws as Heroes. After the first season it became painfully obvious that the writters have no more idea what's happening than we do, and they're simply stringing along random events to try and build suspense and mystery. If both shows actually had a clear plan to follow from the begining, I'm sure they would have turned out really amazing. As it is, I couldn't care less about either, and I'm glad to see the back of both of them.

If you never watched a single episode, how do you know it is complicated? The concepts of the show are more then what the average viewer would care for but the way they are shown and seen on the show are not complicated.
