It would be pretty kick ass if Giantbomb did a "Defend your Game" segment, the same way Screened does and talk about some really obscure games.
One Idea Giantbomb should Borrow from Screened
" I suspect Navarro and Rorie have slightly more free time on their hands, which allows them to come up with such segments - whereas the GB crew does not. But a regular feature like that could be a replacement for the Endurance Run, who knows? "Well, tell you what, I'd trade some convention coverage for more original content like that. Really, I would. I get very little from GB's convention coverage I can't get elsewhere, but the original content they create is unique and has its own style. The last week and a half has been kind of boring over here and nothing much came out of it other than a couple of messy on-location bombcasts that had frankly unacceptable audio quality. I would personally prefer the "Defend your game" segment to that...
I'd prefer an Attack Your Game segment, where they proceed to just talk as much shit about a game as possible.
" Episode One: Jeff defends Mark Ecko: Getting Up Episode Two: Ryan defends No One Can Stop Mr. Domino "Shouldn't that be the other way around?
" That would be good, just more Quick Look Throwbacks in general would be cool, though I think they are too busy at the moment. "Yeah. I would love to see more Quick Look Throwbacks from Giant Bomb. Seeing games like Incredible Crisis, the Dreamcast Quick Looks like Shenmue and Chu Chu Rocket, and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker pop up on the radar in between all of the new game coverage is a nice touch.
If I had my way, they'd just quit covering games I don't care about like Dragon Age II, and do stuff like that instead. To hell with new and relevant games.
as long as they actually deliver said videos more often then every 5 months.
seriously, screened, what the fuck is up with your video content being so scarce?
@Tordah:
I think the main reason we don't see any TANG features is because a lot of the game movies have been covered. I also would love to see more QL Throwbacks too. I know the guys are busy out with GDC and now PAX so I'm not too stressed for the lack of reviews or news on the site. I did enjoy both podcast very much, a lot of people had some great stories and for me personally, I thought the audio quality was fine. Hopefully when they get some down time they can do something like this. Defend Your Game, I wanna see it.
"Actually on one of the Happy Hours where it was Vinny, Dave, and Ryan they said that they pretty much don't have time for new features and were asking the chat for which features they think should go since they don't have any free time anymore. They also talked about not continuing TANG and other stuff like QOTW.

That'd actually be a really cool segment to do, even if it was only done once a month or something like that. I think it'd be better if they could come up with two new segments and just run them biweekly so it wouldn't get stale too fast and they'd have more time to prep. new idea's. I love Monday's aren't really all that necessary, so the time they spend on that could be allocated elsewhere.
I don't remember if I posted in here yet, but yeah that would definitely be a cool idea.
Though they have done some similar things with the Quicklook throwbacks, but that is sometimes just random old games, or popular ones.
As someone born in 1990, my first console was a snes, so I really don't have a ton of insight into many of the games from before then. It would be cool to see some of the old favourites and be explained why they are great. Although, I suppose Game Room coverage did most of that.
I would like that, in fact I'd like to see that from anyone, really. Sometimes I'm just baffled as to why people think certain games are good.
